APPLY FOR THE “CAMPERSHIP”

Gavin began camping at Camp Christopher at the age of 9 and ultimately retired from staff at the age of 21 in 2020. During these 13 years, Camp Christopher grew to be Gavin's favorite place on earth, becoming a defining aspect of who he was as a person.

Camp Christopher is a community where children with Type-1 diabetes can develop confidence in a supportive and accepting environment. As a place of adventure, Camp Christopher helps teach children with Type-1 diabetes to live an active life while managing their illness.

As someone who lived with Type-1 diabetes, Gavin’s impact was especially pronounced for campers who shared this diagnosis.

We understand the financial impact of a Type-1 diabetes diagnosis and seek to allow children to experience Camp Christopher without any financial burden. It is our hope that this program will allow Gavin's legacy to continue in providing campers with a fun and enriching experience for years to come.

Our foundation will pay for the full cost of attending Camp Christopher for a single week of Resident Camp ($650) or Day Camp ($300) for each camper with Type-1 diabetes.
